Nick’s Boots it’s an institution of rugged Americana craftsmanship. Known for handcrafted, made-to-order boots that stand the test of time, Nick’s approached us with a serious challenge: migrate and upgrade their existing Shopify store to meet the demands of over 8,000 SKUs, each with dozens of unique customizations, while honoring the soul of their brand.

Scope of Work
- Product Architecture Overhaul We restructured the product catalog to support 100+ customizable options across boot types, leathers, soles, sizes, and hardware. Each permutation needed to be fast, stable, and easy to update by non-technical staff.
 - Advanced Product Customizer We built a custom React-based product builder embedded into the Shopify experience—allowing customers to build their dream boots in real time. We handled compatibility logic, pricing adjustments, and design preview capabilities.
 - Punchout Integrations for B2B Integrated Nick’s Boots into procurement systems with Punchout Catalog support, enabling seamless bulk ordering from enterprise and government buyers.
 - Shopify Plus Optimization Leveraged Shopify Plus features, including Launchpad, Flow, and exclusive APIs to scale promotions, automate operations, and streamline workflows.
 - Custom App Development Built internal tools for warehouse labeling, inventory sync, and status updates via Shopify Admin Extensions and GraphQL.
 - Brand Experience & Visual Language Upgraded the site’s design system to reflect Nick’s heritage: bold typography, weathered textures, and modular layouts that echo a handcrafted ethos.

The result was a robust and scalable Shopify experience that preserved the grit and tradition of Nick’s while enabling modern e-commerce operations. The custom builder boosted AOV (Average Order Value), and Punchout integrations opened doors to high-value B2B clients.
