Granting Access & Required Permissions

Why Access Matters #

For ShopStars to build, manage, and optimize your store effectively, we need the correct permissions. This ensures we can work securely, avoid delays, and maintain full accountability.

Shopify #

To provide development and store management support, please add our team as a staff account with full admin permissions:

1. Go to Settings > Users and Permissions > Add Staff
2. Enter the email address provided by your ShopStars project manager
3. Select Admin permissions and send the invite

Advertising Accounts #

We require access to your advertising platforms in order to set up and manage campaigns:

• Meta Business Manager: Assign ShopStars as a Partner with Admin role
• Google Ads: Grant access through Account Access & Security
• TikTok Ads: Invite ShopStars as a Manager within your ad account

Analytics #

Analytics access allows us to properly configure tracking and verify campaign performance:

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4): Add our account as an Admin within your property settings
• Other Platforms: If you use additional analytics tools, please provide Admin or equivalent access

Security Guidelines #

• Always use the platform’s invitation system to grant access
• Never share passwords via email or unsecured messages
• If an employee leaves your team, revoke their access immediately
